Pinnacle Market / Support Black Arizona
Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Effective Date: August 20, 2026
1. Welcome
Welcome to Pinnacle Market.
Pinnacle Market is a community ecosystem designed to help businesses, organizations, resources, and people discover one another, build meaningful connections, and strengthen the communities they serve.
Support Black Arizona is a regional community initiative operating within the Pinnacle Market ecosystem and is focused on increasing the visibility, discoverability, connection, and support of qualifying businesses, organizations, and community resources serving Arizona.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Pinnacle Market, Support Black Arizona, their websites, directories, business listings, submission forms, community features, and related services collectively referred to in these Terms as the “Platform.”
By using the Platform or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not submit information or use portions of the Platform that require agreement.
2. Our Institutional Commitment
Pinnacle Market exists to strengthen communities.
Our governing principles emphasize:
- trust and transparency;
- dignity and respect;
- accessibility;
- responsible stewardship;
- community investment;
- accurate information;
- fair participation;
- thoughtful use of technology; and
- opportunity before extraction.
Technology exists to support people and communities—not the other way around.
These principles guide how Pinnacle Market develops the Platform, reviews listings, moderates content, protects information, and makes commercial decisions.
3. Support Black Arizona
Support Black Arizona is a regional initiative of Pinnacle Market.
Support Black Arizona may include qualifying Black-owned businesses as well as approved nonprofits, community organizations, faith-based organizations, artists, public resources, and other organizations that meaningfully serve Arizona’s Black community.
Appearance within Support Black Arizona does not necessarily mean that every listed entity is Black-owned.
Pinnacle Market is responsible for accurately classifying listings according to the applicable eligibility and regional standards.
4. Business Listings
Businesses, organizations, professionals, and community resources may be considered for inclusion in the Platform through:
- owner or representative submission;
- community recommendation;
- administrative research;
- community engagement;
- partnerships; or
- other approved discovery processes.
Submitting a business does not guarantee publication.
Submissions may be reviewed for completeness, accuracy, eligibility, duplication, classification, verification, community relevance, and compliance with Pinnacle Market policies.
A submission may result in:
- approval;
- a request for revision;
- pending verification;
- denial; or
- another appropriate review outcome.
Whenever practical, Pinnacle Market seeks clarification or correction before denying an otherwise potentially eligible submission.
5. Publication Is Not Endorsement
Publication within Pinnacle Market or Support Black Arizona means only that the listing has satisfied the applicable standards for inclusion at the time of review.
Publication does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of:
- product or service quality;
- licensing or legal compliance;
- financial stability;
- safety;
- availability;
- pricing;
- representations made by the business;
- opinions or conduct of the business; or
- future performance.
Users remain responsible for evaluating businesses, organizations, products, services, and opportunities before choosing to engage with them.
6. Business Information Submitted for Publication
This distinction is fundamental to Pinnacle Market.
When an applicant submits information intended to create or maintain a public listing, certain information may be designated as Business Information Submitted for Publication.
Depending upon the business and information provided, this may include:
- business or organization name;
- business description;
- business category;
- public business phone number;
- public business email address;
- website;
- public social-media profiles;
- publicly approved address or location information;
- city, region, ZIP code, or service area;
- business hours;
- services;
- payment methods;
- booking information;
- business photographs, logos, or other submitted media;
- public ownership or business classifications;
- public events;
- other information clearly submitted for inclusion in the directory.
By submitting information identified or reasonably understood as information intended for publication, you authorize Pinnacle Market to review, format, organize, display, and publish that information as reasonably necessary to operate the directory and associated community-discovery features.
Submitting information for review does not mean that every piece of information submitted will be made public.
7. Private Owner and Applicant Information
Information collected for administration, verification, review, communication, security, or institutional recordkeeping is different from information submitted for publication.
Private Owner/Applicant Information is not automatically Business Information Submitted for Publication.
Private information may include:
- owner’s legal or personal name;
- private email address;
- private telephone number;
- residential address;
- applicant contact information;
- ownership-verification information;
- supporting documentation;
- correspondence with Pinnacle Market;
- reviewer communications;
- verification materials;
- internal submission status;
- reviewer notes;
- appeals or dispute information;
- unpublished business information; and
- other information not reasonably intended for unrestricted public disclosure.
Pinnacle Market will not treat private owner/applicant information as public listing information merely because both types of information were provided through the same submission process.
Where practical, the Platform will distinguish between private contact information and public business contact information when information is collected.
Our handling of private information is described further in the Privacy Policy.
8. Home-Based, Mobile, Online and Service-Area Businesses
Pinnacle Market recognizes home-based, mobile, online-only, service-area, and other nontraditional businesses as legitimate forms of entrepreneurship when they otherwise satisfy applicable eligibility requirements.
A private residential address does not need to become public merely because it is required for verification or administrative purposes.
Where appropriate, a listing may instead display information such as:
- city;
- community;
- neighborhood;
- ZIP code;
- county;
- service area; or
- region served.
Pinnacle Market seeks to balance meaningful community discovery with the privacy and personal safety of business owners.
9. Accuracy and Applicant Responsibilities
Anyone submitting information to Pinnacle Market agrees to make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and must not knowingly:
- impersonate another person or business;
- submit materially false information;
- misrepresent business ownership;
- submit fraudulent information;
- submit information for unlawful purposes;
- create spam or intentionally duplicative listings; or
- falsely claim authority to represent another organization.
Pinnacle Market may request clarification, corrections, or verification when reasonably necessary.
Businesses are encouraged to notify Pinnacle Market when published information becomes inaccurate.
10. Corrections, Updates and Reverification
Pinnacle Market may periodically review listings to preserve accuracy and community trust.
A business or authorized representative may request corrections or updates to information associated with its listing.
Pinnacle Market may request additional information before making changes when reasonably necessary to confirm accuracy or authority.
Listings may also be subject to periodic reverification under applicable institutional procedures.
11. Suspension, Removal and Restoration
Pinnacle Market may revise, suspend, archive, remove, or decline to publish listings or content when reasonably necessary to:
- enforce Platform policies;
- correct materially inaccurate information;
- address fraud or impersonation;
- respond to unlawful activity;
- protect users or the institution;
- address repeated failure to correct material inaccuracies;
- respond to privacy or safety concerns;
- preserve community trust; or
- maintain the integrity of the Platform.
Whenever practical, Pinnacle Market seeks proportionate responses and opportunities for clarification or correction.
Certain serious circumstances may require immediate action.
12. Community Standards
Users are encouraged to participate respectfully and in good faith.
Content that may be restricted, revised, reviewed, or removed includes content involving:
- harassment;
- hate speech;
- discrimination;
- threats;
- unlawful activity;
- fraud;
- impersonation;
- spam;
- malicious advertising;
- sexually explicit material;
- malicious misinformation presented as fact;
- repeated off-topic promotion; or
- other conduct inconsistent with Platform standards.
Pinnacle Market seeks to moderate behavior rather than viewpoints. Respectful disagreement is permitted.
Where practical, moderation should educate before it restricts, while serious misconduct may require immediate action. These principles come directly from the Community Standards & Content Moderation SOP.
SOP-012: Community Standards & Content Moderation
13. Reviews and User-Generated Content
Where reviews, comments, photographs, recommendations, or other community-submitted content are available, contributors remain responsible for the content they provide.
Users should submit content they have the right to provide and should not knowingly submit fraudulent, unlawful, misleading, infringing, threatening, or abusive material.
Pinnacle Market may moderate user-generated content according to its community standards.
Publication of user-generated content does not mean Pinnacle Market agrees with or endorses that content.
14. Business Features and Editorial Content
A directory submission and a Support Black Arizona Business Feature are separate activities.
Selecting an option indicating interest in a Business Feature:
- communicates interest only;
- does not guarantee selection;
- does not constitute interview consent;
- does not constitute a media release;
- does not transfer rights to photographs, video, or interview content; and
- does not replace the separate Business Feature consent/release process.
Any required interview, recording, publication, or participant-content permissions will be handled separately.
15. Free Listings, Paid Services and Recognition
Eligible businesses may receive basic directory participation without purchasing premium services.
Payment does not purchase:
- basic eligibility;
- verification;
- ownership of a business identity;
- historical recognition;
- favorable review decisions; or
- community honors that have not been earned.
Pinnacle Market may offer optional paid services, sponsorships, advertising, premium tools, or enhanced opportunities.
When offered, paid services should be described transparently and remain distinguishable from eligibility, verification, and institutional recognition.
This reflects the Commercial Constitution’s explicit principles that free participation is foundational, payment should unlock growth rather than belonging, and recognition cannot be purchased.
Commercial Constitution
16. External Websites and Services
The Platform may contain links to websites, social-media services, booking systems, maps, telephone numbers, payment providers, or other services operated by third parties.
Pinnacle Market does not control all third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, security, accessibility, accuracy, privacy practices, products, or conduct.
Users should review applicable third-party terms and privacy practices before providing information to those services.
17. Intellectual Property
Pinnacle Market retains rights in its original Platform content, branding, designs, institutional materials, written content, and other materials to the extent protected by applicable law.
Businesses and contributors retain ownership of materials they own.
When a business provides logos, photographs, descriptions, or other materials specifically for directory publication, it represents that it has sufficient authority to provide those materials and permits Pinnacle Market to use them as reasonably necessary to review, publish, display, promote, maintain, and operate the applicable listing or Platform feature.
Separate agreements may govern Business Features, partnerships, advertising, sponsored content, or other media production.
18. Availability and Changes
Pinnacle Market is an evolving platform.
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or removed as the institution grows.
Pinnacle Market does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature, listing, integration, account function, map, third-party service, or other Platform component.
Changes should be made consistently with Pinnacle Market’s institutional principles and commitment to responsible stewardship.
19. Limitation of Platform Role
Pinnacle Market primarily provides discovery, connection, information, and community infrastructure.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Pinnacle Market is not a party to transactions between users and listed businesses.
Users and businesses remain responsible for their own transactions, communications, agreements, products, services, legal obligations, and decisions.
20. Appeals and Concerns
Applicants may request reconsideration of certain listing or moderation decisions.
Whenever practical, appeals should receive independent review.
Pinnacle Market seeks to explain:
- what decision was made;
- which standard was applied;
- what correction may be possible; and
- what opportunity for reconsideration exists.
The goal is understanding, accountability, and community trust.
21. Changes to These Terms
Pinnacle Market may revise these Terms as the Platform, applicable requirements, technology, and institutional practices evolve.
Material revisions should be communicated or posted in a reasonably transparent manner.
The current version and effective date should remain available on the Platform.
